Commercial Construction Estimator

Seeking a qualified candidate that will effectively evaluate plans and specifications to produce accurate bid estimates for a variety of projects. Possible cross over of project management supervisory duties on occasion.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The ability to become familiarized with design documents, divisions of work, and an understanding of all scopes of work including general condition requirements. 

  • Be able to effectively communicate to Subcontractors and Suppliers in regards to their bid submissions and scope of work.

  • Must be able to perform accurate and detailed quantity take-offs.

  • Work with Bid Coordinator on follow-ups with trade contractors and suppliers to ensure bids are returned in a timely manner

  • Assist with estimating cost of additional work to contracts as needed.

  • Identify and assess areas of profitability, construction risks and constructability issues, and value-engineering alternatives.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a good representation of the company on pre-bid walk through meetings, ask pertinent questions, and relay site visit information to other team members and trade-contractors as required.

  • Must possess strong time management skills, organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to work on multi estimation at once

  • Work with Project Management team through to completion if required.

  • Review final budgets and prep contract buyouts with Subcontractors and Suppliers

  • Sourcing material and services when required.

 Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in commercial estimating required.

  • Degree in Construction Management required.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Outlook.

  • Proficiency in PlanSwift preferred.


Construction Superintendent

Seeking an experienced team member to oversee all aspects of operations in the field. Must possess leadership skills, effective subcontractor coordination skills, communication skills, problem solving, attention to detail, and computer technology skills. Must be able to interpret project specifications and blueprints along with knowledge of all construction crafts.

 Requirements Include:

  • 5 years + in Commercial Construction Supervisory Experience.

  • OSHA 30 Certification

  • 2 year Associates Degree preferred

  • Proficient in MS Office a must

Project Administrator

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating communications between project team members

  • Preparing subcontractor RFP’s and coordinating contracts and contract requirements with subcontractors

  • Organizing resource data; i.e. project drawings, specifications, reports and records

  • Preparing written meeting notes, project status summaries, and other written materials

  • Preparing spreadsheets to perform calculations and to organize project data

  • Preparing, maintaining and tracking project documents and contracts for subcontractors and suppliers

  • Project submittal and RFI coordination, submission, and tracking.

  • Manage project management programs as applicable per project.

 Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Excel, Word

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, able to multi-task, meet critical deadlines with an eye for accuracy and attention to details

  • This position requires a reliable, enthusiastic, organized person who can manage multiple priorities, communicate well with multiple project managers on a wide variety of projects.

  • LEED Certification, experience with ProCore and other project management programs, and Sage 300 a plus.
